“Portugal is so tight”
Westjam 2011 changed my life and the way I looked at the worldwide atmosphere of our sport. I was lucky enough to meet kids like the NinjaCats, Jan from Suicycle, Manuel from Traffic, the world famous Jotta, and many many more. Alot of which I hope will turn into life long friendships.
Ricardo really put alot of time and effort into this years event, and has even built a course for it.
The weather in Portugal is beautiful, and the energgy level was intense at last years event. If you can be anywhere on June 9th, I would be in Portugal for this. Grime frames for the winners. =)
Hope to see you then!

Read what the had to say:
“Fixed gear bikes, you can love them or hate them. Personally, at first I was adverse to this kind of cycling culture. I thought it was a funny bike polo game for snob kids in turtle necks from New York city, so lame and not interesting. Hipsters and roadies…
I had seen riders doing some easy tricks, but they looked rather awkward, and pedaling non-stop, that’s just silly…
Then, one day I had a chance to have a quick ride on one of these bikes and I fell in love, instantly. Since then I’ve started digging deeper and found how amazing, wide, and fresh the fixed gear culture is!”
